HERoic Tracks+ project
We are thrilled to announce the official launch of our new project, HERoic Tracks, an inspiring initiative focused on empowering women through strategic skill-building and collaboration. This project is the result of months of preparation and collaboration with key partners across Europe, all working towards a common goal: to provide women with the tools, support, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Project Overview: HERoic Tracks
HERoic Tracks is designed to create a meaningful impact in women’s lives by equipping them with essential skills and building a network of support across diverse communities. The project emphasizes collaboration between various partner organizations, ensuring that women from all walks of life can benefit from the knowledge, experience, and resources brought together by this initiative.
Our launch took place on September 12, 2024, in a virtual setting via Zoom, bringing together experts from different sectors to discuss the project’s objectives and lay out a roadmap for the coming months. The event marked the beginning of an exciting journey toward empowering women through education, mentorship, and practical resources.

Highlights from the Kickoff Meeting
The inaugural meeting covered several important topics that will shape the direction of the project. Below are the key takeaways:
Introductions and Partner Presentations
Each partner organization introduced themselves, providing an overview of their experience and how it relates to HERoic Tracks. Notably, Sarah Hackel from Orient Express emphasized the motivation within her community to participate in the project, while LUC University suggested including Albanian-language materials to better support specific target groups.Project Focus: WP2 and Empowering Women
A major focus of the project is Work Package 2 (WP2), which revolves around building methodologies and strategies to support women’s empowerment. Michael Schwaiger from Enter Network led a detailed discussion on how this will unfold, including tasks, responsibilities, and expected outcomes. The aim is to ensure that women are equipped with the skills they need to succeed while fostering greater engagement from participating communities.Budgeting and Task Distribution
The meeting also addressed the division of responsibilities among the partners, ensuring that each organization has a clear role in delivering on the project’s objectives. Budget allocations were discussed to ensure transparent and fair use of resources.Preparations for Future Meetings
The team is already gearing up for the next major event, which will be held in Bordeaux. This meeting will focus on further developing WP2 and refining the strategies to support women participants. Key logistical and planning considerations were shared to ensure a smooth and productive gathering.
Next Steps for HERoic Tracks
As we move forward, we are excited about the journey that lies ahead for HERoic Tracks. In the coming months, our partners will be working closely to implement the project’s various work packages, starting with WP2. We aim to foster strong collaboration across Europe and ensure the active participation of women in the communities we serve.
Some immediate next steps include:
- Finalizing the agenda for the upcoming meeting in Bordeaux.
- Sharing drafts of the project’s logos and materials for partner feedback.
- Rolling out the project registration form and establishing communication lines for ongoing collaboration.
We are committed to making HERoic Tracks a success and look forward to sharing more updates as the project progresses. Stay tuned for more insights on how this initiative will make a lasting impact on women’s empowerment across Europe.
